I was being followed. They weren’t being quiet about it either. I could clearly hear the splashing of each hurried step behind me over the descending rain. The rain gave no relief from the Bangkok heat, though it did help with the smell. Raw sewage and scattered garbage—not a pleasant combination

I reached in to make sure that I had gotten everything and for a second thought I had, then I felt a prickle on my finger tips. Using my index and pointer fingers I pulled out a small card. It was a business card. On it was written, “白川うなぎ” and an address.
