“Are you okay?”

She raised the cigarette to her lipstick covered lips and took a puff.

“I’m sorry for intruding, but I noticed you alone with traces of what I believe to be tears on your chee—“

She leaped back from the railing and turned to face him with wide eyes and a look of astonishment.

“Sorry... I didn’t mean it like that. I was actually hoping you would be able to help me.”

“Help you with what?”

“Jump.”

  • Kurosawa was a police officer, a very good one in fact. Morally, he is very sound, being well versed in history and religion among other traditional values.

  • Every cop has their Rebecca case as was called by (cop name) from The Girl from the Dragon Tattoo. Kurosawa has one too, but he is the culprit, though his involvement is more about covering up a murder than committing one.

  • This conflicts greatly with his deep rooted values and torments him a lot. His vices like drinking and smoking got worse and he even started some others.
